INFORMATION FOR PRESENTERS

Thank you for presenting at the FASFAA 2019 Annual Conference!

We are inviting presenters to use the FASFAA 2019 PowerPoint Template, use of this template is recommended, not mandatory.

The Conference Committee has secured a Laptop, LCD Projector, Screen, table for equipment and power for each meeting room. 

Submit a copy of your finished presentation by Monday April 22, 2019, to Nadine Bailey via email at [email protected].  All presentations will be converted to PDF and posted to the conference and mobile website. Registered conference attendees will be notified about the availability to download.  If you haven’t submitted the presentation in a power point format you MUST also bring it on a jump drive so it can be loaded at the time of your session.

Presenter(s) Checklist:

  • Use the FASFAA 2019 PowerPoint Template (preferred, not mandatory).
  • Submit the presentation to Nadine Bailey at [email protected] by April 22, 2019.
  • Once requested by your session moderator, provide your bio to be used as your introduction.
  • Arrive at the room at least 10 minutes prior to the starting time of your session.
  • If issues or concerns arise during the conference, contact Joan Bailey at 813-760-3743, or a member of the Conference Committee at Conference Headquarters (Bonita Bay).

INFORMATION FOR MODERATORS

Thank you for serving as a moderator at the FASFAA 2019 Annual Conference!

Please be in contact with the presenter(s) prior to the conference to obtain their official biographic information and determine how they would like to be introduced for the session. 

On the day and time of the session, please arrive at the room at least 10 minutes prior to the session.  If the presenter did not provide their presentation to the conference committee in advance, their presentation will need to be loaded on the meeting room laptop. At the starting time of the session, welcome all to the session and introduce the presenter(s). During the session, take a head count of attendees. At the end of the session, remind attendees that the evaluation of the session will be electronic and will be sent via email after the conference.  After the session, submit your head count information to a member of the Conference Committee in the Registration Area, located in the Great Egret.

Moderator Checklist:

  • Before the conference, contact the presenter to obtain their bio and/or other information you will need for their introduction.
  • Attend the mandatory moderators orientation session on Tuesday May 21, in Great Egret at 6:15pm.
  • Arrive at the meeting room at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the session. If issues or concerns arise that you cannot resolve, contact a member of the Conference Committee at the Registration Area located in Great Egret
  • Assist the presenter, if necessary, to ensure the presentation is available and/or loaded on the meeting room laptop. 
  • Perform other key session related duties:
    • Beginning: Welcome attendees and introduce session/presenter.
    • During: Take a headcount of attendees.
    • End: Encourage completion of evaluation and to vote in the FASFAA election.
    • After: Submit head count information to Conference Registration Area Great Egret.
