We are seeking a highly motivated, organized and detailed-oriented Associate Director to join our growing institution. In this position, the successful candidate will focus on providing the highest standard of integrated student customer service while maintaining compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, as well as College policies and procedures. The Associate Director, reporting to the Director, assists with the administration of all Financial Aid related reports and appeals, involving considerable discretion, integrity, and confidentiality. Responsible for demonstrating LSSC’s values of learning, people, student success, forward thinking, commitment to excellence, accessibility, diversity, partnerships, and sound management practices.

LSSC takes pride in providing a high-quality education at an affordable price, and has three locations, serving the rapidly expanding suburbs of the Orlando metropolitan area and The Villages. The Leesburg Campus, South Lake Campus (Clermont), and Sumter Center (Sumterville), collectively serve over 6,000 students annually. QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Required: Minimum Bachelor degree from an accredited institution.
Preferred: Master’s degree

EXPERIENCE: Required: Minimum of 5 years progressive financial aid experience including Professional Judgements/Petition for Independence, Satisfactory Academic Progress, Appeals for financial aid students, and Return to Title IV. Supervisory experience.
Banner experience a plus.
