Organizational Summary: The University Scholarships & Financial Aid Services office  is responsible for coordinating and administering all student financial assistance awarded to USF students, in compliance with Federal State and Institutional regulations and guidelines.  The office is the main point of contact for all financial aid program information for current and prospective students and parents.  The office is responsible for: coordinating and managing the awarding and disbursement of over $400 million in financial aid funds on an annual basis- interpreting changes to federal, state and institutional regulations and translating the effect/impact to students and parents in a manner they can understand, particularly first generation students- providing an array of financial aid support options for students and their families- and providing oversite to monitor the entire process to ensure institutional compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.

**This positions requires access to the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS). Candidates must not be in default or have a history of default on student loans.

Position Summary: This position manages a client service team, which requires hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating 2 full-time staff; manages, supervises, and schedules team members to the various duties necessary to fulfill the workload responsibilities of the team; manages specialized responsibilities that include budget adjustments, professional judgment reviews, and the conflict of interest reviews required of all staff, and serves as the subject matter expert to staff in resolving related issues; coordinates, develops, and updates forms, policies, and procedures, and provides training to staff for these specialized functions.

Minimum Qualifications: This position requires a Master’s degree in business administration, management, or other related field with one year of related experience; or a Bachelor’s degree in those same fields with a minimum of three years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree; two years of current Financial Aid experience in a Financial Aid office.
