Region 4 - West Central Florida

Hi Region IV!!

I am so excited and honored to serve as your 2020-2021 Region IV Representative.  I look forward to working with you and hearing your feedback as we go through the next few years. Please bring me your questions, concerns, suggestions, and your critiques. Together we will continue to shine as a region and all throughout FASFAA.

First off, I want to say thank you Kylie Gross for a job well done. Under Kylie’s leadership, an open line of communication throughout the region was maintained allowing for training workshops to be held in both the central and southern part of our region. If the times permit, I would like to keep this going.

As we step into the new year with a new theme, ‘See the Possibilities and Expand Your Horizons’, it is important that you know how extremely valuable your input and involvement is for accomplishing FASFSAA’s mission.

FASFAA’s mission is to develop and maintain professional standards of financial aid administration, to promote cooperation and communication among its members, and to promote and endorse student financial aid programs that are consistent with good professional practice.

20-21 will be yet another great year of professional development, training, and networking opportunities.  Please remember to renew your FASFAA membership. Maintaining your membership or becoming a new member is a great way to start your year off right! For anyone new to financial aid or Florida, I welcome you and would love to hear from you.

In closing, I invite all members old and new to be part of our association in any way that is best for you. Opportunities you may consider include:  volunteering on one of our committees or task forces during the year, attending regional workshops and our annual conference, presenting in one of our training sessions and writing an article for our newsletter.

I look forward to representing your interests and needs. My door is always open, feel free to reach out to me or say hello at any time!

Sincerely,

Kimberly Gloster
