Minimum qualifications:
Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience.
Preferences:
The selected candidate will have excellent communication skills and recent financial aid experience working in a financial aid office.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to multi-task, will be detail oriented, and have the ability to easily adapt to various situations.
This individual will have experience in PeopleSoft.
Internal title: Senior Coordinator, Student Financial Aid.

Job description:
Acts as a liaison between the Office of Student Financial Assistance, Student Accounts, UCF Housing, Athletics Business Office, and the Athletics Compliance Office regarding financial aid issues involving all student-athletes.
Monitors each student-athlete’s financial aid file to ensure compliance with financial aid and NCAA regulations.
Provides financial aid counseling to student athletes.
Coordinates the signing of athletic scholarship award letters and other forms required by NCAA and the Department of Athletics; coordinates communication for renewals, cancellations, and reductions.
Assists in the coordination of the athletic student budget.
Populates and monitors student financial aid packages, inclusive of athletic grants and ensures compliance with all federal and/or state financial aid regulations.
Coordinates the posting of awards to the compliance software and the PeopleSoft system.
Posts out of state waivers into the system at the beginning of each term; includes waiver budget input.
Ensures that all academic honor awards are consistent with NCAA rules and regulations.
Coordinates with the Department of Athletics the determination of eligibility for special funds. Reviews and confirms approval for use of NCAA’s Special Assistance Fund and the Student Athlete Opportunity Fund for Student Athletes.
Coordinates the billing of scholarship payments made on behalf of the Department of Athletics.
Assists in monitoring NRA students and coordinates the processing of payment information via Student Financial Assistance and International Services Center.
Coordinates the processing of Departmental Stipend awards and communicates with the academic departments.
Performs outreach and training for areas of responsibility.
Assists with Financial Aid and Compliance related projects as directed by the Director of Student Financial Assistance.
Attends workshops and other functions in support of the Office of Student Financial Assistance.
Attends training and professional development opportunities to keep abreast of applicable rules and regulations.
Performs other appropriate duties as assigned.
