Job Description:
Responsible for all systems and operational functions of Student Financial Assistance. Supervises the coordination of the on-line computer system, and implements procedures for quality controls and appropriate checks and balances. Responsible for coordination and integration with the USDOE Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System.
Serves as functional leader and is responsible for the continued coordination and development of the PeopleSoft student information system. Assists in the development, acquisition, and/or customizing of new systems to improve the quality of processing and dissemination of information for Student Financial Assistance.
Integrate the SR Module with other PS Modules and offices, including Admissions, Graduate Studies, Registrars, Human Resources, Institutional Knowledge Management, and Computer Services through collaboration and coordination.
Direct and conduct continued development of module upgrades and implementation of related systems to support the Financial Aid Module. Collect and analyze data as appropriate for the efficient processing of student aid.
Coordinate operational system troubleshooting and reporting of Financial Aid related issues within PeopleSoft.
Write and develop Mods (modifications) for PeopleSoft upgrades to support regulatory changes and process updates and data integrity.
Develops procedures and assists in writing computer programs to monitor and ensure compliance with regulations and program guidelines.
Assures the proper reporting of financial aid fiscal data to federal, state, and institutional organizations as required by regulations, guidelines, and practices.
Assures appropriate coordination and reporting with COD and other systems.
Attends workshops, meetings, and training sessions to assure adequate professional development and to keep abreast of current rules and regulations.
Performs other appropriate duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and two years of information technology experience.
Preferences: The preferred candidate will have hands-on experience working with the technical side of PeopleSoft and Financial Aid.

This is a full time position.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm and occasional evenings and weekends.
